This association was founded as a 501 C3 in 1987 to create a fellowship for local practitioners and educate the public and membership of the many modalities and uses of Traditional Oriental Medicine.

 

Our membership is all-inclusive from Friends to Students to Professionals. As a unit, we are proud to report that we have managed to serve the people of Oklahoma with continuous quarterly meetings and workshops and annual symposiums which meet the highest standards of education, thereby offering our members, who find it necessary, the required PDA’s for recertification with the NCCAOM.

Since the birth of the Oklahoma Acupuncture Association (OKAA), we Founders have had the extreme honor of working with the most generous educators who so selflessly shared their hard-earned knowledge freely and happily.

 

We began with a handful of people who have made this dream a reality, and we stand in awe at the depth of expertise our members possess.

 

We have so much more to learn from one another and invite you to join us in this endeavor. As the saying goes…..”It takes a village….”, well it takes each and every one of us working together to ensure that this organization will continue to thrive and exemplify what it really means to serve the citizens of Oklahoma.
